Community recreation centre, Hampshire
The challenge
The parish council runs a busy recreation centre used by local groups every day.
The council wanted to replace an old platform lift with an enclosed lift that works automatically at the push of a button.
Our solution: Hydraulic Platform Lift
We removed the existing platform and installed a 400kg APL Hydraulic Platform Lift with a 1,400 x 1,100mm platform beside the main staircase. No pit was needed, just a small entry ramp.
The white enclosure is largely glazed, with powered doors at both levels and an autodialler fitted.
