Touch screen control and a smart handrail
The APL Touch series puts a multifunction touch screen console at the heart of the cabin. Select your floor, change the RGBW car lighting, backgrounds and floor icons, and check the lift’s operating status, all from one intuitive display.
Automatic installations include an elegant vertical handrail for a secure grip. On hold-to-run installations, a smart horizontal handrail with an integrated sensing system moves the lift while your hand stays in contact with it.

The regulations that apply to a home lift depend on your building, how it is used and the model you choose. Our APL Elite Cabin Lift is CE marked to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, which applies in the UK through the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, and depending on your project it can help you meet Part M of the Building Regulations and the Equality Act 2010. The APL Home Lift and APL Circular Glass Lift are built to the Machinery Directive for private use and are not designed to meet Part M or the Equality Act 2010.

Hydraulic home lifts use a pump and hydraulic fluid to raise and lower the lift, offering smooth, reliable operation and are well suited to low-rise homes. Traction home lifts use an electric motor with ropes or belts and a counterweight, delivering efficient operation, precise levelling, and lower energy consumption.
