A cabin lift moves a fully enclosed car between floors along guide rails. The APL Elite is available with a hydraulic drive or a gearless traction drive with the machinery housed in the shaft, while the APL Heavy-Duty uses a hydraulic drive. Both travel at 0.15m/s with a smooth start and stop.
