About 1,100m² of basement in an existing recreation centre was being converted into new office workspace.
The new workspace needed a lift through four levels, fitted into the stair void without a pit or machine room.
Our solution: Traction Platform Lift
We installed a 500kg APL Traction Platform Lift in a self-supporting white shaft within the stair void. Glazed hinged doors with hidden operators serve four levels on adjacent sides.
Fire recall, emergency lowering, voice announcement and a GSM autodialler are fitted. The lift was accepted in late 2023.
