The owners of a period house in Holland Park wanted step-free access from the lower ground floor to the first-floor bedrooms.
The lift needed to fit within the house without standing out, and pass through two floors with minimal building work.
Our solution: Hydraulic Platform Lift
We installed a three-floor APL Hydraulic Platform Lift with a 900 x 1,250mm platform through openings cut in the upper floors, with a pit of only 85mm.
Each landing has a 30-minute fire-rated timber door with an automatic opener, finished as a panelled door to match the house, and call stations mounted beside each door.
