Wolfson College is part of the University of Cambridge. Its kitchens needed a better way to move people, trolleys and supplies between levels.
The college needed a lift for its kitchens that could carry heavy loads and staff together between two levels, alongside a dumbwaiter for smaller items.
Our solution: Heavy-Duty Cabin Lift
We installed an APL Heavy-Duty Cabin Lift rated at 1,000kg (13 persons), with hydraulic drive, 3,200mm of travel over two stops and automatic sliding doors. We also supplied and installed a dumbwaiter for the kitchens.
