An office building in Shoreditch was adding a roof terrace for its occupiers.
The building needed step-free access from the top office floor to the new terrace, with a landing that could stand up to the weather.
Our solution: Elite Cabin Lift
We installed a gearless traction APL Elite Cabin Lift with the machine in the headroom, travelling 4,050mm to a weatherproofed rooftop landing with a canopy and IP54 landing buttons.
It has 2,100mm high fire-rated stainless sliding doors and a full-height car finished in a bronze powder coat chosen by the client. The controller is linked to the building’s fire alarm and management systems.
