The owners of a period country house in north Essex wanted a lift that would disappear into its traditional interiors.
The landing doors needed to look like the house’s own panelled doors, and the car had to take the client’s own panelling and brass handrail.
Our solution: Elite Cabin Lift
We installed an APL Elite Cabin Lift in a masonry shaft serving three floors, travelling 6,145mm from a 140mm pit. The landing doors have hidden closers, no handles and panels clad to match the house joinery.
Inside, the car was built to take the client’s green panelling and brass rail, with a gold stainless control panel and landing buttons set into the walls.
