This large family home in Harrogate has a grand hallway and a sweeping spiral staircase at its centre.
The owners wanted a lift serving all four floors that would become a feature of the hallway rather than hide away, fitted into the eye of the staircase.
Our solution: Circular Glass Lift
We installed an APL Circular Glass Lift with a round glazed car and curved glass doors, rising through the centre of the spiral stair over 9,710mm and four floors. The structure is finished in RAL 7047 grey.
The glass keeps the staircase and chandeliers in view from every level, and the lift carries up to 300kg (four persons).
