The challenge
A three-storey London townhouse was being refurbished, and the owners wanted a lift between every floor.
The lift had to fit a narrow shaft beside a glazed staircase, with a car made to measure and landing doors that suited the interiors.
Our solution: Elite Cabin Lift
We installed an APL Elite Cabin Lift with a 700 x 1,160mm car and a split hydraulic ram, travelling 8,410mm over three floors from a 140mm pit. The ground floor opens on one side and the upper floors on the other.
The hinged landing doors and car are finished in matt black RAL 9005 with wide white frosted glass windows, and the client clad the car walls to match the house.
