The challenge
On a large new residential scheme at Nine Elms, the main contractor asked us to provide step-free access across podium terraces and amenity areas.
Residents needed to reach landscaped terraces, a swimming-pool deck and level 10 amenity spaces, each with its own change in level.
Our solution: Elite Cabin Lift
We installed an external three-floor APL Elite Cabin Lift in a self-supporting glazed black structure, with automatic glazed sliding doors on two sides.
Three 400kg APL Hydraulic Platform Lifts in matching RAL 7021 handle the short level changes to the pool deck and amenity spaces, with full-height glazed doors and half-height gates. The cabin lift was commissioned in summer 2023 and the platform lifts in spring 2024.
