The challenge
A busy retail store in London relies on its goods lift to move stock between back-of-house levels.
The store needed its existing goods lift replaced, with the new lift built to stand up to heavy trolley use.
Our solution: Traction Goods Lift
We removed the old lift and installed an APL Traction Goods Lift in a self-supporting steel structure, travelling 5,335mm across three levels on a 100mm pit. The 1,700 x 2,000mm car has an aluminium chequer-plate floor and a folding car gate.
Black hinged landing doors, tread-plate cladding and barrier rails protect the landings from trolley damage. The lift was handed over in February 2026.
